Cutter rig equipped for cruising. Mast stepped on keel. SS standing rigging with double lowers, intermediate shrouds, and a hefty backstay. 905 sq. ft. of sail area between a jib on a Hyde roller furling gear, a self-tending footed staysail, and the double reefing main. All these sails can be set from the safety of the cockpit. There is also a cruising spinnaker and its gear, to make the most of downwind sailing. There are 5 Lewmar sheet-halyard winches to care for the running rigging. SS and teak boom gallows for the main.

ELECTRICAL and ELECTRONICS
The 12v. system controlled by the Marinetics panel with circuit breakers (no fuses), has two new marine batteries (750 cranking amp/ea.) and a heavy-duty marine alternator (70 amp). The two banks of batteries are connected throughout a three-position switch on the panel.

She is equipped with a VHF marine radio, located in the aft cabin. The  depth sounder is located on the cockpit by the engine-alarms panel.
She has no provisions for 110VAC shore power.

ENGINE and PROPULSION
A very reliable new M-65 Perkins diesel engine which drives a Borg-Warner transmission with 3:1 reduction gear, fitted to a 24" x 14" three blade bronze cruising propeller through an outstanding SS 1 ½" shaft, gives plenty of power to her, reaching the maximum hull designed speed of 7.6 knots at only 2800 rpm. Engine has a fresh water cooler. Panel for engine instruments is in the cockpit. There are visual and sound alarms for oil, temperature, and cooling system of the engine. There are two separated, interconnected tanks for fuel with a total capacity of 100 gallons of diesel.

The master stateroom is aft with shower, head, and queen-size bed, totally separated for privacy and comfort. There is one guest stateroom including one head and one guest shower. The main area (salon-galley) is spacious, "homey" and open. This yacht is designed for living aboard for long periods of time, even "forever".

GALLEY
Has a new Force 5 propane stove, with three burners and an oven. Double SS deep sink with pressurized and manual hot and cold water. The hot water heat exchanger works with the engine when cruising . Plenty of storage lockers in the galley area including garbage bin.  On the starboard side of the galley is the large (21 cu. ft. total) refrigerator-freezer, fitted with Crosby cold plates connected to the engine driven compressor.
